Stock Futures Fall Amid Israel-Iran Conflict
In This Article:
U.S. stock market futures were falling Sunday night after Israel and Iran ramped up their aerial attacks early Sunday, and after President Donald Trump suggested that “it’s possible” the U.S. could get involved in the conflict. Trump told ABC that Iran was still talking to U.S. officials, saying: “They’d like to make a deal,” and that earlier talks canceled after Israel’s initial attacks late Thursday “may have forced a deal to go quicker.” At around 6:25 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were down 0.3%, or 71 points; S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures both fell 0.2%.
