Peru inflation up 0.33 pct in June; reaches annual target

LIMA, July 1 (Reuters) - Peru's consumer price index rose 0.33 percent in June from a month earlier as prices for food, transportation and communications all increased, state statistics agency Inei said on Sunday.

The 12-month inflation rate rose to 1.43 percent, inside the central bank's 1 to 3 percent annual target. (Reporting by Marco Aquino and Luc Cohen)
