Frankie Hermosillo has joined New Mexico Angels as development associate. Hermosillo's previously worked as an information strategist at NAI Sun Vista Commercial Real Estate. In her new role, Hermosillo will cultivate strategic relationships, identify growth prospects, and facilitate the expansion of the startup ecosystem.

Christopher A. Holland has re-joined Sutin, Thayer & Browne after serving for five years as chief counsel of the New Mexico National Guard, a State organization comprising more than 3,500 service members and civilian employees. While there, he advised the Commanding General and staff on government contracts, employment and labor law, and state-federal relations. Holland represents corporate and institutional clients in commercial litigation, government contracts, employment law, and environmental and land use law. Holland originally joined the firm in 1996 after clerking for two years for the Honorable Pamela B. Minzner at the Supreme Court of New Mexico. He is licensed in New Mexico and Colorado.

Melanie Velasquez has joined New Mexico Bank & Trust as senior vice president, director of business development. Velasquez has more than 20 years of finance and business banking experience and has managed diverse portfolios of businesses with up to $200 million in revenues in the municipality, for-profit and non-profit sectors. At New Mexico Bank & Trust, Velasquez aims to build and lead teams who understand their clients' goals, provide customized solutions to help them succeed. She is board president for S.A.F.E. House, the largest domestic violence shelter in New Mexico, and treasurer and secretary for the Board of Trustees of the National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation. Velasquez has a bachelor's degree from the University of New Mexico.

Yellowstone Landscape had two of its landscaping projects, La Vida Llena and Hope Village, recognized with the Associated General Contractors' New Mexico 2023 Best Building Awards. La Vida Llena's 6000 Building is the sixth expansion and renovation phase since La Vida Llena opened in 1983. In addition to the new senior living apartments, Phase VI completely updated the Supportive Care Services provided to Life Plan residents. Hope Village is a project of HopeWorks, one of the largest homeless service providers in New Mexico. Hope Village is New Mexico's first newly-constructed single-site project, providing both permanent supportive housing for 42 individuals in need.

Stephanie Sherrodd, president and chief executive officer of Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union, has been elected for a second term to the board of directors for the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions. Sherrodd is one of 11 members of the NAFCU Board, which consists of credit union executives from across the United States. She joined SLFCU in 2021 and formally became CEO in January 2022. With more than 25 years of experience in the credit union industry, Sherrodd previously served as president and CEO of Texas Dow Employees Credit Union in Houston. She has served as a member of the Community Depository Institution Advisory Council with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and is a past board member for the Credit Union Executives Society and the National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations. She is an associate board member at Origence. Established in 1967, NAFCU is a direct membership association for federally insured credit unions.

Marty Padilla has been named president of the Del Norte Rotary Club of Albuquerque. Born and raised in Albuquerque, Padilla's roots in New Mexico trace back to the 1800s. Introduced to Rotary in 1980, he reconnected in 2012 and took on various leadership roles within the club.
