Aug 31 (Reuters) - Infrastructure company Downer EDI Ltd said on Monday that it had won a contract worth NZ$320 million ($215.65 million) to provide maintenance and restoration services for some networks and power systems in Australia.
The contract, from the Australian Government owned-NBN Co which operates wholesale broadband networks, begins in September and has a maximum term of eight years, the company said in a statement.
Downer will provide services including, network restoration and maintenance and urgent field service work across Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
