Gilead Sciences is an American international pharmaceutical and biotechnology company that develops and commercializes therapeutics. The company focuses primarily on antiviral drugs used in the treatment of HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C and influenza. Some of the products that the company develops include AmBisome, Atripla, Cayston, Emtriva and Flolan.

DineEquity is an American international company that franchises and operates IHOP and Applebee's restaurants. As of 2015, the company has 3,716 locations in 20 countries and employs 200,000 people. The corporation was formerly known as IHOP Corporation until an all-cash transaction merger with Applebee's in 2008.
