Global hospitality company Hyatt has expanded its global footprint by reaching a management deal with Krivish Hospitality to launch its Grand Hyatt hotel brand in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The luxury hotel is poised for development on a parcel of land spanning 11.5 acres. This move marks a strategic advancement for Hyatt as it continues to grow its portfolio in dynamically expanding markets

Hyatt India and Southwest Asia development vice president Dhruva Rathore said: “We are delighted to announce plans for Grand Hyatt Indore, the economic centre of Madhya Pradesh.

“The signing of Grand Hyatt Indore underscores our commitment to expanding Hyatt’s luxury portfolio in key destinations across India. With its exceptional location and world-class amenities, we believe this hotel will set a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in Central India.”

The forthcoming Grand Hyatt property is set to offer 250 rooms and suites, along with five signature food and beverage outlets.

It will also feature meeting and event spaces, including a 27,986ft² grand ballroom, suited to meet the needs of both business and leisure travellers.

Other amenities available at the property include a spa, fitness centre, swimming pool, and entertainment zones for all ages.

Krivish Hospitality director Sanjay Shukla said: “We are thrilled to work with Hyatt to bring the Grand Hyatt brand to Indore.

Headquartered in Chicago, Hyatt Hotels operates a global portfolio of more than 1,450 properties in 79 countries.

The Grand Hyatt brand is part of the company's Classics Portfolio.

This announcement follows the August 2022 opening of a Grand Hyatt in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR, which features 442 guest rooms, including 45 suites and 55 service apartments.
