A new luxury apartment community has started leasing in Mandarin although construction continues on the multi-phase project.
Estimated at $47 million, The Julington is bringing 260 new residences to Jacksonville's real estate market.
Leasing is ongoing for Phase 1 of the apartment community, 12397 San Jose Blvd. — roughly a half-mile north of Julington Creek, according to RISE: A Real Estate Company, headquartered in Jacksonville.
Phase 1 is expected to be completed in early November 2022. It entails about 75 apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms, Courtney Gordon, RISE chief operating officer, told the Times-Union. Monthly rents will range from $1,510 to $2,599.

The Julington is "designed and purposely situated to seamlessly blend in with the surrounding community. It also uses natural barriers and spacing along property lines so residents have their privacy," RISE executives said in a news release announcing the project.
"The Mandarin neighborhood is a unique and well-established area with access to shopping, restaurants and many businesses," Matthew Marshall, RISE vice president of development, said in the release.
RISE also is the developer for The Doro, an upscale apartment building at the forefront of Jacksonville's downtown Sports and Entertainment District.
The Doro will be eight stories with 247 apartments plus retail shops, a first-floor restaurant and rooftop amenities, including a bar/lounge, swimming pool and top-notch view. There also will be a seven-floor parking deck with 284 spaces, according to RISE.
