You can’t buy one or even make an offer because construction just started, but that hasn’t stopped potential buyers from lining up for the chance to own a home in the new June Lake mixed-use development in southern Williamson County.
Tudor Homes recently began construction of the first 28 homes in June Lake, taking shape along Interstate 65 in Spring Hill. Construction of the first eight single-family houses is expected to be completed in early summer 2023, but buyers don’t want to wait.
“At the end of (this) year I’ll be able to take contracts on these first eight. I feel like I’ve got eight contracts in my email right now,” said David Tudor, founder and owner of Tudor Homes.
Construction of new homes and the number of resale homes on the market have not kept up with demand in Williamson County or, for that matter, anywhere in the Nashville region. Buyers are eagerly contacting Tudor for information about the homes he’s building.

“We’ve gotten barrage of people wanting to know more about them,” he says.
Tudor’s homes are the first of 2,900 residences planned for June Lake to be built by home builders selected by Southeast Venture, the company developing the community.
Signature Homes was selected as the primary residential builder for phase one of June Lake. Signature will build approximately 400 homes, both single-family and townhomes, as well as an amenity center on 86.5 acres of the 775-acre property.
Construction of the homes and amenity center is scheduled to get under way this spring. Signature is also building homes in Franklin’s St. Marlo neighborhood.
June Lake has been called the new gateway to Spring Hill. The master-planned community will be developed over two decades and eventually include 2,900 homes, 3.9 million square feet of Class A office space, nearly 1.3 million square feet of retail and restaurant space and 400 hotel rooms.
A new Interstate 65 interchange at June Lake Boulevard will provide easier interstate access for Spring Hill and Thompson’s Station.
June Lake’s amenities include pedestrian friendly dining and shopping options, a greenway and an 11-acre lake.
“We are extremely excited to be working on this project. Spring Hill is an amazing community with so much to offer growing families and new residents of Middle Tennessee. June Lake will be a bright spot in Spring Hill's history and lead to further improvement of the entire community,” said Tudor.
June Lake is designed for the way people live and work today, said Don Alexander, who is managing the project for Southeast Venture, the company that 30 years ago launched Cool Springs development.
