As the U.S. and China hits out at each other, Europeans are forming an orderly line to Beijing. On Friday, Chinese President Xi Jinping hosted Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez to discuss the impact of U.S. tariffs, Madrid's trade deficit with Beijing and other matters, according to the Spanish government. Sánchez is the first European leader to visit Xi since the U.S. announced its tariffs, which have hit China particularly hard.
