Apple looks to be driving ahead with its plans to assemble iPhones for the U.S. market in India, despite President Donald Trump’s opposition to the move. Apple is increasing production of iPhones in India in a bid to diversify its production away from China in response to the tariffs Trump has imposed on China. Trump has publicly criticized the move, saying he had “a little problem” with Apple CEO Tim Cook and calling on the company to build in the U.S. instead.
