(Nasdaq: ALRM), the leading platform for the intelligently connected property, today reported financial results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2025. Alarm.com also provided its financial outlook for SaaS and license revenue for the second quarter of 2025 and its guidance for the full year of 2025.

First Quarter 2025 Financial Results as Compared to First Quarter 2024

  • SaaS and license revenue increased 9.0% to $163.8 million, compared to $150.3 million.

  • Total revenue increased 7.0% to $238.8 million, compared to $223.3 million.

  • GAAP net income increased 18.4% to $27.7 million, compared to $23.4 million. GAAP net income attributable to common stockholders increased 18.5% to $28.0 million, or $0.52 per diluted share, compared to $23.6 million, or $0.44 per diluted share.

  • Non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA(*) increased 17.5% to $43.5 million, compared to $37.0 million.

  • Non-GAAP adjusted net income attributable to common stockholders(*) increased 11.3% to $30.4 million, or $0.54 per diluted share, compared to $27.3 million, or $0.50 per diluted share.

Balance Sheet and Cash Flow

  • Total cash and cash equivalents was $1.19 billion as of March 31, 2025, compared to $1.22 billion as of December 31, 2024.

  • For the three months ended March 31, 2025, cash flows from operating activities was $24.1 million, compared to $49.9 million for the three months ended March 31, 2024. For the three months ended March 31, 2025, non-GAAP free cash flow(*) was $17.9 million, compared to $46.8 million for the three months ended March 31, 2024.
