Nov. 19—Rodale Institute

The Rodale Institute has named Jessica Student as chief impact officer of the research and education nonprofit, effective Nov. 6. In her role, Student will lead the Institute's development, marketing, and communications divisions, as well as oversee the Institute's forthcoming capital campaign. She will report to Rodale Institute CEO Jeff Tkach.

In her previous roles at both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, Student was recognized for intersecting strategic thinking and effective execution. Her prior experience includes serving as VP, brand & strategy and chief marketing officer for GOOD Institute and Net Impact. In that position, she amplified the voices of global change agents, fostered engagement with corporate and philanthropic partners, and increased brand credibility. Before joining Net Impact, she worked in the Natural Products/CPG industry as the brand manager for the organic greens company, Amazing Grass.

Student holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business marketing from Slippery Rock University. She resides in Philadelphia with her partner and two young children.

Fleetwood Bank

Becky Iannelli, CPA, has joined the board of directors of Fleetwood Bank and Fleetwood Bank Corp.

Since October 2019, she has served as the executive director of the Berks Earned Income Tax Bureau. Prior to this, Iannelli was the chief financial officer for Boyertown Area School District, and she spent the majority of her career with RKL LLP (originally Reinsel & Co.), a regional public accounting firm. As a principal in the audit services group, Iannelli performed and managed audits of government and not-for-profit entities.

She obtained her B.A. in business administration and accounting from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster.

Dedication to community is apparent through Iannelli's investment as a board member of the Foundation for Reading Area Community College since 2016 and member of Opportunity House's board since 2020.

Barley Snyder

Barley Snyder Partner Lauralee B. Baker has been appointed to the board of directors of the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra (LSO). With unanimous support from the board, Baker joins the organization in its mission to deliver exceptional live music experiences, provide valuable educational opportunities, cultivate an appreciation for the arts, and enrich Lancaster through accessible performing arts.

Baker's appointment continues Barley Snyder's long history of support for the LSO and the performing arts in Lancaster. The board has also outlined plans to engage Baker in the governance and development committees within the organization.
