Aug. 21—Five NM-based companies make Inc. 5000 list

Five businesses that operate in New Mexico have made the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies list for 2023.

The companies include:

Las Cruces-based Electronic Caregiver, a health and safety monitoring company, placed 969th.Albuquerque-based Azuca, which creates fast-acting cannabis ingredients for edibles brands, placed 214th.Albuquerque-based City Mobile Group, a health care staffing agency, ranked 67th.Albuquerque-based Verus Research, which specializes in research and development of radio frequency communications for high-power microwave systems, placed 4,552.Albuquerque-based APIC Solutions, a full-service electrical contractor and special systems integrator, ranked 3,214.

Electronic Caregiver, APIC Solutions and Verus Research are repeat honorees, according to Inc.

"With 1 in 3 people worldwide living with multiple chronic conditions, and increasing doctor shortages, Virtual Care is the future," Electronic Caregiver CEO Anthony Dohrmann said in a statement. "Ranking two years in a row with Inc. 5000 clearly demonstrates we're continuing to scale in order to meet the growing demand for AI-powered digital care."

The list annually ranks the fastest-growing private companies across a range of industries. Companies that make the list are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2019 to 2022. The minimum required revenue for 2019 is $100,000 and $2 million for 2022.

Santa Ana Star Casino to host hiring event Tuesday

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, just north of Albuquerque, will host a hiring event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 22, according to a news release.

The onsite hiring event will take place in the hotel's ballroom and both part-time and full-time jobs will be up for grabs. Available positions are with various Santa Ana departments, including the hotel, food and beverage, security, valet, facilities and retail, the news release said.

Santa Ana says full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including medical, dental and prescription insurance coverage.

Job seekers are asked to bring résumés, valid photo IDs and social security cards — and should expect to be drug tested onsite. All new hires will also undergo background checks.
