Oct. 26—Frankston Methodist Church's 38th annual Lord's Acre Harvest Festival is set for Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Methodist Family Life Center, 161 S. Weldon, at E. Main, in Frankston.

The festivities will begin with the Country Store opening at 9 a.m. where many delectable and unique items will be available to purchase. Country Store items are valued at $35 or less.

The Food Committee will be selling breakfast and lunch items, coffee, canned drinks and single serve desserts, as well as the Covenant Cookers' barbecue brisket sandwiches, so bring your appetite and enjoy.

The Lord's Acre Auction will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. with auctioneer directing the bidding fun. All auction items will be $35 or more in value with select items chosen for the Silent Auction to be conducted concurrent with the live auction.

The festival is the church's main fund-raising activity. Because of members' and other community supporters' participation, the festival supports the Care Fund that helps pay utilities for those in need, also helps with gas and lodging for those passing through town.

There is not entry fee for this event and it is open to the public.

The nursery will be provided at auction.

Credit/debit cards will be accepted at the Country Store & Auction.
