Mar. 14—Har-co Credit Union is hosting it's own March bracket tournament, Har-co Helping Har. Co., to vote for the county's favorite non-profit organization.
Each week in March, residents can vote for their favorite organization out of 16 listed non-profit organizations. The organizations with the most votes will move on to the next round on the following week.
"As Harford County's only financial institution dedicated solely to the county, the community and our members are the focal point of everything we do," Chief Marketing Officer Alex Coulson said in a news release. "Giving back to Harford County is the foundation that we were built on in 1955. By including many different impactful organizations in a multi-tiered campaign, we're able to give appreciation and gratitude back to the community in a large-scale effort, while involving our members and local residents."
Every participating organization will receive a monetary donation. The winning organization will receive $2,000.
The non-profit organizations are:

— Harford County Child Advocacy Center
— Harford County Education Foundation
— Harford County NAACP
— Harford Land Trust

— Humane Society of Harford County
— Maryland Center of the Arts
— Susquehanna Wildlife Society
— The ARC Northern Chesapeake
— The Havre De Grace Colored School Museum and Cultural Center, Inc.
— Wreaths Across America: Bel Air Memorial Gardens
