Harbour Energy says $10.8 billion offer for Santos is 'best and final'

MELBOURNE (Reuters) - Harbour Energy said on Monday its latest takeover proposal of $10.8 billion for Australian gas producer Santos Ltd (STO.AX) was its "best and final" offer.
"Harbour's 21 May 2018 proposal is 'best and final' and will not be further increased prior to entering into a Scheme Implementation Deed," Harbour said in an emailed statement.
