Oct. 26—The city of Santa Fe is looking for new members for its Human Services Committee.
The committee reviews applications and makes recommendations on giving grants from the Human Services Fund, which helps pay for food, shelter and other health and human services-related needs.
Committee members are appointed by the mayor with City Council approval. Members must live in Santa Fe County and should be members of "historically underrepresented groups," the city said in a news release Thursday.
The committee meets virtually at 3 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every month.
Those interested can submit applications through the city's PrimeGov Committee Portal at tinyurl.com/vmcmjts5. The deadline is 5 p.m. Nov. 9.
