Get Spotify Premium for Free With New York Times Subscription

The New York Times is now offering free access to Spotify Premium — which normally costs $120 a year — with the purchase of a newspaper subscription.

The Times announced this week that the freebie is available with a one-year “All Access” subscription.

One big hitch: This is for new subscribers only. Folks who currently subscribe to the NYT or Spotify Premium are ineligible.

Spotify Premium is Spotify’s paid music streaming service. Unlike the free equivalent, Spotify Premium is ad-free and gives you unlimited access to more than 30 million songs.

All Access is the NYT’s digital-only subscription. With this special offer, it costs $5 a week for the first year and $6.25 a week thereafter.

The subscription includes unlimited access to all NYT content from any of your devices. Among other features, it also comes with two free digital subscriptions that you can give to someone else, minus the Spotify Premium access.

This deal is a steal for anyone who wants both a newspaper subscription and a music streaming service.
