Investing.com - Travelers (NYSE:TRV) reported fourth quarter earnings that missed analysts' expectations on Tuesday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $2.13 on revenue of $7.80B. Analysts polled by Investing.com forecast EPS of $2.2 on revenue of $6.77B. That compared to EPS of $2.28 on revenue of $6.42B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $2.54 on revenue of $7.72B in the previous quarter.
