U.S. President Donald Trump criticized retail giant Walmart harshly on his Truth Social platform on Saturday, arguing the retail giant should “STOP trying to blame Tariffs as the reason for raising prices throughout the chain.” Earlier this week, Walmart told investors that it would need to begin raising prices later this month due to the high cost of the president’s tariffs on foreign nations, including tariffs. Between Walmart and China they should, as is said, “EAT THE TARIFFS,” and not charge valued customers ANYTHING.
